Bloom’s revised taxonomy-oriented learning activity to improve reading interest and creative thinking skills

Reading interest and students’ creative thinking skills cannot be optimal in the current learning process. Several things cause this. One of them is low models. It happens because activities applied by teacher are less innovative varied. This study aims to analyze effect using Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy-Oriented Learning Activities on reading elementary school students. The used a quasi-experimental research form pretest-posttest control group design. population this was all fourth-grade students Gugus 5, Kecamatan Buleleng consisted 6 schools with 125 determination sample carried out cluster random sampling technique. 58 consisting 30 fourth grade as experimental class 28 class. In study, data collection process test questionnaire method. method essay questions which measure skills. perceptions interest. Data analysis methods quantitative descriptive inferential statistical analysis. hypothesis testing Manova, 0.00 < 0.05. Based results, Bloom revision taxonomy-oriented effectively increase that can activity develop abilities
